via Cadbury unveils augmented reality Spot V Stripes game – Brand Republic News.
The ‘Quaksmack’ game, devised by Blippar, recognises Cadbury’s packaging in a similar manner to a QR code and transforms the packaging itself into a gamePlayers choose to be a ‘Spot’ or ‘Stripe’, before ducks appear from either side of the chocolate bar. They have to ‘smack’ the opposing team’s ducks by tapping the screen.The game, part of the brand’s ongoing Spot V Stripes Olympics activity, is available to consumers with Apple or Android handsets.The game will be available across all Cadbury bars, other than Creme Egg and Wispa.
