Binding Industries of America Announces Product of Excellence Winners

The Binding Industries Association (BIA) has announced the 2010 Product of Excellence Awards (POE) winners. From around the world, binding companies submitted their finest and technically flawless work to the competition. The POE award is considered by many to be the highest honors in the binding industry and winners are acknowledged as a shining example of their craft.

As the worlds only competition specifically for graphic finishers and custom loose-leaf companies, the POE awards provides a platform for companies to demonstrate the value they provide to the graphic arts community. Jose Fernandez,

President and CEO of Fastkit, won for their entry in the mechanical binding category with their entry The Perfect Finish, saying, “The piece that won has made a great impact. Customers admire the work and the award assures the customer that we are able to meet their demands of high quality.”

Challengers for the 2011 competition are encouraged to enter to set an even higher precedent for graphic finishers and custom loose-leaf manufacturers.
