Green Forest University “College of Print & Paper” is offering its first workshop in partnership with Pacific Printing and Imaging Association PPI that will focus on sustainability and green printing.
This is a valuable opportunity to learn about sustainable printing, environmentally friendly paper choices and how to make the right decisions and avoid hidden landmines.
Special guest, Ian Hanna, director of development for FSC (United States), will share the organization’s plans to reduce fees through adjusted group certification guidelines and the renewed value proposition for FSC in the future.
The workshop starts at 8:30 a.m. and continues until approximately 6:00 p.m. It includes lunch and bus transportation to and from a tour of West Linn Paper’s active mill. Following the tour, you can join PPI’s Constructive Cocktails for networking and continuing discussions of sustainability.
