SGIA organisers are laying on ‘sales-free’ expert advice zones to help visitors learn more about the latest speciality imaging trends and technologies.
The Las Vegas show is being held between October 13-15 this autumn. Managers of the event say the zones will provide its diverse community of imagers with a hands-on educational experience unlike any other.
“The Expert Advice Zones present a unique, interactive learning experience for Expo attendees,” says Dan Marx, vp of Markets and Technologies at the SGIA. “Industry experts will show imagers how to add value to their business by implementing the newest developments in the specialty imaging community.”
Such specialty imaging, says the SGIA, encompasses digital imaging, screen printing and the many other imaging technologies SGIA members use, including those they’ll increasingly exploit in the future. These are the imaging processes and technologies employed to create new products and to enhance existing products including point-of-purchase displays, signs, advertisements, garments, containers and vehicles.
Imagers can explore new market opportunities at these three eye-opening Zones, designed exclusively for the graphics and sign community:
PDAA Graphics Application Zone: PDAA Master Certified installers will be onsite to give you an inside look at applying graphics to a variety of innovative and unique surfaces. The Zone is sponsored by 3M Graphics, Avery Dennison, FLEXcon, Hewlett Packard Company and MACtac; with additional support from Clear Focus Imaging.
Industrial Application Zone: Industry experts will be on hand to discuss today’s ultra-precise measuring equipment and state-of-the-art processes used to produce high-tech products.
DSA Digital Signage Zone: Representatives from the Digital Screenmedia Association (DSA) will be available to discuss the processes and requirements of dynamic signage workflow.
