Numbers in charts have factors that number users dont necessarily reveal, or can be argued… but what cant be argued is that I see everyday how content increases PMC’s visibility on search engines, and how many people are visiting through searches of terms related to the Print and Integrated Marketing Industry. To fine tune that statement even further, I have seen sites for clients I work with go from zero to first page of google, even first or second listing (under a paid ad, or a yellow/white pages result) after a few weeks of blogging and strategic keywords aimed to target local searchers.
Numbers aside again, there can be no doubt at this point that a good post (tweet, video) will bring traffic to your site, and from there you can grow your audience and share your products and services. Have you ever clicked on a paid ad on google? I havent… at least not on purpose but there have been some accidents. Do you look at businesses past page 3 of results? What are your opinions of businesses that show up on page 5? That in essence may be the numbers game you should be focusing on.
