IxPressia has introduced a new stand-alone software package known as ixPressionist, designed to simplify the production of customised and variable data printing for display producers and signmakers.
The VDP package allows individual and versioned elements including text, images and barcodes to be incorporated automatically into wide-format applications, plus multiple-up smaller jobs on a single sheet including labels, stickers and decals.
The package is designed to work offline as a standalone under the Windows operating system, and therefore does not plug into any specific workflow. It supports embedded RGB and CMYK colour profiles, plus JPEG, TIFF, PNG and GIF file formats. Links can be made to external data sources to pick up the variable data elements, or the data may be generated internally with output being an optimised multipage PDF file ready for RIPping or printing using standard drivers.
