Says Tom Wright, director of design for Neenah Paper, “As digital communication explodes as a powerful marketing tool, we want to ensure people don’t lose focus on the benefits and value of print in marketing and advertising strategy. Being a member of The Print Council helps us bring that message to a new generation of designers and marketers and we’re pleased help promote print media as an effective and environmentally responsible communications medium.”
The Print Council is formed by a variety of leaders across the entire graphic arts industry, with the goal of influencing and promoting the greater use of print media through education, awareness, market development, advocacy and research. Sponsors of The Print Council, which support and fund all Council initiatives, include paper companies, commercial printers and industry suppliers, along with marketing firms and the U.S. Postal Service. Additionally, The Print Council operates closely with industry publishers, industry associations, and public relation firms as associates to promote awareness of the Council projects to their members.
