Do you belong to an association? A bowling league? Intramural golf? What about a print association? Is that association keeping you educated? Are they helping you lift your business? One group that I love does this. It’s the Flemish Innovation Center for Graphic Communication, known as VIGC. I love this organization because they are active. They host a hack-a-thon every year to find solutions to print challenges. They sponsor study trips. And they promote print!
I met Jos Steutelings, Managing Director for VIGC, at a non-event in Denmark in December 2021 and he handed me something so amazing we shot this video the same day. It was a package of their promotional material for the organization that included a newspaper, a swatch-book-inspired services menu, a lovely metallic postcard, and other material that spotlighted the value of print. If you print for an association, this segment is a cavalcade of ideas. Even if you don’t, watch for ideas that can help any of your clients!
