When The World's Largest Camera Meets #HP Latex Technology

Dennis Manarchy-HP-PrintMediaCentrAs a Print BUYERologistTM I spend a good amount of time speaking and writing about the importance of relationships between buyers and service providers. This project just may be the pinnacle example of that relationship, and it goes one further.

As explained in the video, the photographer and inventor of the camera Dennis Manarchy called upon his wide format go to at Bloomingdale Signs By Tomorrow (BSBT) to discuss his upcoming project for Chicago’s Union Station. When it was discovered that their equipment wasn’t big enough to print the size Dennis wanted, he didn’t call another VENDOR – he supplied BSBT an HP LATEX PRESS for them to do the job!

This is an extreme example, but it shows that PEOPLE matter! In this case, my connection Kelly Voss at BSBT sent me this story, and I met her through my relationship with Dean Petrulakis of Rider Dickerson, who I met through my LinkedIn Group! Congrats to EVERYONE involved!
