Fastbind USA to debut industry’s first PUR/EVA tabletop binder in United States at GRAPH EXPO 14

Affordable and cost saving PUR/EVA tabletop binder will revolutionize commercial print and bindery capabilities

FASTBIND USA_PUR_EVADavie, FL – Fastbind has developed the first of its kind PUR EVA tabletop perfect binder designed exclusively for the short to medium run book industry. When matched with a Fastbind casemaker it is uniquely the only binder of its kind that can make not only softcover books, but can seamlessly as well add hardcovers to your offering.

Built on the same chassis as the very popular Fastbind Elite XT, users will benefit tremendously from the reliability they have come to expect from Fastbind. Now, virtually any binding job can be accommodated by using the flexibility and superior binding strength of PUR glue when needed, or regular EVA glue for the everyday jobs that present themselves. Within just a few minutes you can swap from EVA glue to PUR glue and back with no additional machines and very little set up time.

Priced thousands of dollars less and dramatically smaller than traditional PUR machines, now virtually any print shop can incorporate this flexibility into their existing environment. “This is a game changer for not only the small to medium sized print shop but the large binderies as well,” says Doug Houser VP of Sales for Fastbind. “The call for On Demand book binding is growing rapidly. A larger portion of the market wants smaller numbers of books made and made quickly. They also want to use the paper of their choice, and the PUREVA XT greatly increases the ability to accomplish this.”

The PUREVA XT will be shown for the first time, together with all of the other Fastbind products in the US at GRAPH EXPO 14 booth 4460, in Chicago Sept 28-October 1st. To preview videos of the machine in action please visit our Fastbind USA YouTube page, which includes videos of the PUREVAXT plus the array of our other binding products.
