Digital printing just got greener

In a world-first, HEXIS has launched a 100% latex digital print film in what is the first truely green step away from solvent-filled PVC.

Our MD Noel,  is fresh from the Hexis distributors conference in France, where the boffins wrapped a vehicle in this new latex film and he was amazed at the print quality and how conformable it is.  He said, quote: “these Frenchies are onto something here…”

Launched officially last week at Fespa Munich, these films are PVC free and do not use any chlorine, solvents, plasticizers or heavy metals, such as chromium or lead, in their ingredients.  The films in the NATURally range also carry a M1F1 fire rating and are particularly suitable for use in public places where regulations with regard to fire hazards are much more stringent. Products with a M1F1 fire rating are fire-retardant and do not release any toxic smoke.
