#PrintChat 3.0 Is Here!

Greetings Earthlings, Alternative Lifeforms, and Citizens of The Printerverse…

Time certainly does fly when you are engaging with the biggest and best group of Print & Integrated Marketers on Twitter every week! It’s been over a year since @PrintMediaCentr took over the reigns of #PrintChat from @QuadGraphics, and I am happy to report that with the help of @sandyhubbard and our newly appointed sidekick @miercs, we have taken it to new heights.

If you are joining our program already in progress, #PrintChat is a weekly discussion about all things print and marketing that takes place via Twitter every Wednesday at 4PM ET / 9 PM GMT – and time zones et. al.

Whether you are just starting your career or a seasoned professional, #PrintChat is an hour filled with knowledge sharing, networking, and fun. And with more of our friends joining in from Europe, and as far away as Australia and New Zealand where it’s barely dawn, our global takeover is well underway! It’s not unusual these days for #PrintChat to trend during the hour with several million impressions, and one week we actually trended past the new #Pope and reached over 20 MILLION impressions!

How to Participate

TweetChat.com allows you to view the #printchat hashtag stream in one window – just like a chat. There are other ways to do this – through Twitter itself, Hootsuite and TweetDeck for example, but TweetChat is simple to use and many chatters, myself included, prefer this platform.

Another chat platform out there is Tchat.io. This one works great, and is also FREE. If TweetChat is acting up I jump over here and Tchat.io alcome comes to the rescue. A little tip…to RT and comment on that tweet, use the “quotation marks” not the RT function.

Make sure you’re following @PrintMediaCentr! I also tweet the weekly topic from @PrintChat. Then clear your calendars Wednesdays at 4PM ET, and set aside one hour a week for #PrintChat to meet some amazing people, be social, share your knowledge and experience, have some fun, and maybe even learn a few things!
