Ladies and Gents of Print, Citizens of The Printerverse!!

Once again it is our distinct honor to be able to help Dr. Twyla Cummings, Senior Associate Dean and Professor, Graduate Executive Board Advisor, College of Imaging Arts and Sciences at Rochester Institute of Technology, conduct some industry research. Last time the focus was on a Comparative Study for Women in Graphic Communication, and for this study the focus is on diversity and inclusion in the Graphic Communication industry.

This is an important topic and the survey is just a few questions. So please help Print AND the future of our industry! Here are the details from Dr. Cummings:

Diversity and Inclusion in the Graphic Communication Industry

How diverse and inclusive is the graphic communication industry? This question is important because research shows that companies with diverse workforces are more innovative, strategic and profitable. As the industry continues its structural and technical transformation and the search for key personnel becomes more competitive, it is imperative that graphic communication businesses embrace and celebrate diversity and inclusion.

The primary objective of this research is to gain some understanding of the current status on diversity and inclusion in today’s graphic communication industry. The outcome of this study will contribute to the limited research conducted on this very important topic. As a professional in the graphic communication industry, your participation in this research study will be insightful and greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your participation.  A summary of the results will be posted at a future date on here, on Print Media Centr.  If you have any questions, please contact Twyla Cummings at tjcppr@rit.edu.
