Blippar Makes The Shortlist (Interactive)

This is a nice example of Augmented Reality from Blippar. What makes this interesting for me, is that in this magazine there are a bunch of ways to interact with print – play a video game, see additional photos, get more information, do a little shopping, make funny pictures to share with your friends, and incorporate social media.

The only problem… who can afford to do such things? Is the model that publications/publishing will provide the AR content and pass those costs to the consumers, or will only Big Brands with flowing cash get to occupy this space? I guess we will find out soon since AR is creeping it’s way into our lives.
